Growing up, Sylvie was a jockey and initially came to the United States at the age of sixteen to become an elite showjumping contestant. In fact, this is how Claire Bronfman met high-ranking NXIVM member, who was also an elite rider.
In 2018, after Sylvie spent two days being interviewed by the FBI, she immediately returned to England. The experience was very traumatic for her. “I went from having this huge circle of friends to not knowing anyone,” she said. However, upon returning to the UK, Sylvie found her way back to the horses.
“I spent a lot of time on my own with dogs and horses,” Sylvie said. “It laid a foundation for communicating with my intuition.”
